Perma Award for Imagining Autism, The Beacon, Folkestone

Imagining Autism Perma Award

Lynda Evans, former Assistant Head of The Beacon and University of Kent academics Nicky Shaughnessy and Melissa Trimingham have been given a PERMA Award by The Beacon in acknowledgement of their work. The award is on display at both the Folkestone and Walmer sites. Lynda Evans commented: ‘I think we benefit as much as the children! Your staff are so supportive, dedicated and a joy to work with.’ Nicky Shaughnessy commented: ‘Melissa and I have thoroughly enjoyed our work with The Beacon and look forward to future collaboration.’
