It was the first Imagining Autism intervention in a special school in Canterbury yesterday. We took the Outerspace environment in for 8 autistic children to move around in and to explore. They met a spaceman, an alien and helped to launch and land the iA rocket on the moon. We huddled under the alien’s UV bubblewrap tent. And we spoke Stylophone to the spaceman. Moon rocks were thrown, collected, eaten and torn apart. Then we landed safely back on earth and the children returned to their classrooms.
